Peran Dewan Kemakmuran Masjid (DKM) dalam Pemberdayaan Masjid Studi Pada Masjid Al-Azka Nunukan

Abstract

Mosques have a very important position in the scope of Islamic society as centers of worship, centers of civilization and empowerment. Mosques as centers of religious and social activities have a strategic role in community empowerment. The Mosque Prosperity Council (DKM) as the mosque manager plays a role in optimizing the function of the mosque. The aim of this research is to obtain an in-depth overview of: 1) the history of the formation of the Al-Azka Nunukan Mosque and the achievements it has achieved, 2) how the planning and organizational program of the Mosque Prosperity Council (DKM) is in the process of increasing the empowerment of the Al-Azka Nunukan Mosque, 3) what and what is the role of the Mosque Prosperity Council (DKM) in empowering the Al-Azka Nunukan Mosque towards the congregation, the community and in helping the community to study. The research results show that the Mosque Prosperity Council (DKM) plays a significant role in improving the quality of worship, community solidarity, developing social programs and helping the community's economic independence.
